The AMU Economics Students’ Club (AESC) provides a platform for students to explore, discuss, and apply economic ideas beyond the classroom. We organize seminars, webinars, quizzes, and interactive sessions to enhance learning and engagement. The club also connects students with academic, research, and career opportunities, while encouraging dialogue on issues that shape our society and economy.
The AESC was founded in 2021 by a group of enthusiastic economics students who aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical understanding of the subject. What began during the lockdown as an online platform for learning and collaboration has now grown into a fully active offline club. Over time, AESC has evolved into a vibrant student community that connects ideas, people, and opportunities in the field of economics and beyond.
AESC aims to empower students, especially those in economics, with the technical knowledge and industry readiness required to succeed in their careers. We focus on developing hard skills, soft skills, and all the capabilities necessary to prepare our members for professional life. Beyond academics, we cultivate a supportive community, where every member can grow personally, thrive professionally, and feel a true sense of belonging.
